Helsinki, Finland
Helsinki, the capital of Finland, is a modern Nordic city where sustainability, creativity, and quality of life shape everyday experiences. Surrounded by the Baltic Sea and over 300 islands, it combines clean design, contemporary architecture, and easy access to nature. As the most sustainable city in the world, Helsinki offers reliable public transport, safe urban spaces, and a relaxed rhythm ideal for exploration.
It is also a hub of Finnish education: home to renowned schools, universities, and innovative learning environments that reflect Finland’s learner-centred approach. For visitors, Helsinki provides an inspiring window into the values and practices that make Finnish education globally respected.
In addition to Helsinki, Finland offers several inspiring cities that showcase the diversity of Finnish education and everyday life. We warmly recommend Turku, Tampere, Lahti, Kotka, Hämeenlinna, and Porvoo.
Each of these cities offers a distinct learning environment, from historic and regional education networks to modern, sustainability-focused communities. We are happy to arrange educational visits in these destinations and can recommend the city that best fits your learning objectives, group profile, and programme goals.
