No. Erasmus+ funding is not required. These events are open to education professionals around the world joining with institutional, national, private, or other professional development funding.

The events also meet the criteria of Erasmus+ teacher training courses, so Erasmus+ participants may join them as courses.

Our sister company Euneos manages the registration, invoicing, and documentation. You can register there even if you are not using Erasmus+ funding.

Yes. School visits are a core part of our educational events and are included in the event programme. If an individual school visit has to be changed because of school schedules, illness, or other unexpected reasons, we will arrange a suitable alternative visit whenever necessary.

The exact schools, visit times, and age levels may vary depending on the event, destination, and Finnish school calendar.

All the events listed on this page are confirmed, unless marked as Planned. The event coordinator will contact participants about 1–2 weeks before the event with the final programme, practical instructions, and the final venue details.

A typical programme includes an introduction to Finnish education, several school visits, expert sessions, facilitated discussions, and reflection activities. The exact schedule depends on the event theme, destination, and school availability.

A typical educational event in Finland may look like this:

Day 1: Welcome and introduction to Finnish education

Arrival, orientation, and an introduction to the Finnish education system, culture, and society. Welcome dinner.

Day 2: First School visit and professional dialogue

Visit to a Finnish school. Classroom observations, school tour, and discussion with local teachers or school leaders.

Day 3: Expert sessions and workshops

Sessions on selected themes such as school leadership, curriculum, teacher professionalism, student wellbeing, inclusion, digital learning, or sustainability.

Day 4: Additional visits and cultural learning

Additional school or education-related visits, combined with cultural activities that help participants understand Finland as a society.

Day 5: Reflection and closing session

Shared reflection, professional exchange, final discussion, and certificate of participation. Farewell lunch or dinner.

After registration, you will receive an invoice by email due in 7 days. Payments are made by bank transfer or using a credit card. In bank transfers, please include the order number as the payment reference so that your payment can be identified correctly. If your organisation needs a specific invoice format, VAT correction, or additional details, please contact Euneos before payment.

For VAT exemption, you need to provide a VAT number, Erasmus-related OID, tax certificate, trade register extract, or similar official document proving your organisation’s status during the registration. The registration and invoicing process is handled through our sister company Euneos.

Once your registration is confirmed, you can start arranging travel and accommodation. We strongly recommend booking flexible flights and accommodation, as VisitEDUfinn and Euneos are not responsible for participants’ travel or accommodation costs in case of changes.

We recommend booking accommodation in a central and well-connected area, especially near the central railway station for Helsinki events. The exact venue and meeting points are usually confirmed closer to the event, once the final group size and practical arrangements are known.

Yes. You can join many of our events as an individual participant, with colleagues, or as part of a larger professional delegation.

Groups are welcome. Groups of 5 or more participants receive a 10% discount on the Event fee. If you are planning to bring a delegation, we recommend contacting us before registration so we can advise you on availability and practical arrangements.

No, accommodation is not included. Participants book their own accommodation, and we recommend choosing a central, well-connected location.

Yes, participants receive a certificate of participation after completing the event programme.

Most events are organised in English. Some tailored programmes may be available in other languages depending on the group and availability. During school visits, observed lessons are usually in Finnish, but the visit programme includes opportunities to discuss and reflect on what you observe.

We will write invitation letters only after the full payment. If the participant cannot get a visa and sends evidence about the rejected visa application, we will refund the paid amount. However, 100€ (excl. VAT) will be deducted as an administrative fee.

In some cases, partial attendance may be possible, but it must be agreed before registration. The catering and transportation package remains the same, and your certificate will show the actual programme days or hours you attended.

Yes. If you join the event as an Erasmus+ teacher training course, Euneos can support the validation of your mobility. You should prepare your Learning Agreement or Europass documents according to your own Erasmus+ project, and Euneos can sign the completed documents when appropriate.

Yes. If the published dates do not match your plans, we can design a tailored educational event or study visit for your organisation. Private programmes can include school visits, expert sessions, workshops, leadership meetings, and cultural activities.
