Educational Events in Finland

Join special educational events in Finland that combine expert-led sessions, authentic school visits, organised local transportation, and international exchange with education professionals from around the world.

Our events are designed for school leaders, education decision-makers, university professionals, teachers, and other education specialists who want to experience Finnish education in practice — without needing Erasmus+ funding.

You can join as an individual participant, with colleagues, or as part of a professional delegation.

From popular courses to international education events

Our educational events are based on some of our most popular teacher training courses in Finland. We have developed these programmes beyond a traditional course setting by adding a transportation package, facilitating several school visits, and creating more opportunities for professional exchange between participants from different countries.

The events are administered through our sister company Euneos, where the registration also takes place. They meet the criteria of an Erasmus+ teacher training course, so participants using Erasmus+ funding can join them as courses. However, Erasmus+ funding is not required.

These events are designed for a wider international audience, including school owners, directors, principals, superintendents, university professionals, local authorities, and education specialists joining with institutional, national, private, or other non-Erasmus funding.

What you’ll experience

During our educational events, you will explore Finnish education through a combination of expert input, school visits, and professional dialogue. You will:

  • visit Finnish schools and observe everyday learning environments
  • meet teachers, principals, and other education professionals
  • discuss teaching methods, school leadership, student wellbeing, curriculum, inclusion, or innovation
  • take part in workshops or expert sessions
  • exchange ideas with international colleagues
  • reflect on how Finnish practices could inspire development in your own school, university, organisation, or region

Every event is designed to give you a concrete and realistic understanding of how education works in Finland.

Who is this for?

Our educational events are suitable for education professionals and decision-makers from around the world, including:

  • school owners and directors
  • principals and school leadership teams
  • superintendents and local education authorities

  • teachers with institutional, national, or private grants
  • international delegations interested in Finnish education

You do not need Erasmus+ funding to participate. Many of our event participants join with institutional funding, national grants, professional development budgets, or private funding.

Pricing

Educational events start from 720 € / person. The final price depends on the event, destination, duration, number of school visits, and the content of the catering and transportation package.

The total event price is usually divided into two parts:

Event fee
This covers the professional programme, expert sessions, school visits, programme materials, coordination, and certificate of participation. The event fee depends mainly on the length and content of the event.

Catering and transportation package
This covers selected meals, refreshments, and/or organised transportation during the programme. The price depends on what is included in each event, such as transportation between school visits, a dinner, lunches, coffee breaks, or other event-specific arrangements.

Some events may offer a lower early bird registration price for participants who register by a certain deadline. In addition, groups of 5 or more participants receive a 10% discount on the Event fee. The discount does not apply to catering, transportation, or other separately priced services. Please check the event-specific details before registration.

Accommodation

Accommodation is not included in the price, so you may select your preferred accommodation. In Helsinki, we recommend staying close to the central railway station for convenient access to public transportation and major sights.
